Well yesterday I made a zucchinni tart with mexican chorizo. I normally don't eat chorizo so I don't know was the Cacique brand or our taste but we had one piece and to the garbage ... the chorizo had a weird taste and was a lot of fat .. not happy .
Is us? is the brand ?

I don't like to buy chorizo in US, specially that brand... we normally cook it on a pan, and then mix it with cheese to make quesadillas, but cacique just dissapear on the pan! is just like fat burning!
the only chorizo I like is one my friend got a "heb" it has more meat than fat.
I was so mad and I got sick I had to go and buy the pink bottle LOL .. anyway never again ..I normally don't buy chorizo because I don't really eat pork so I don't know which brand is good or not .. but I learn the hard way

I live in a huge Portuguese community & they make great fresh chorizo in various flavors. I don't buy the prepackaged stuff anymore.
