Have you ever had a meal in a restaurant or out of a box that you absolutely love, but are not sure how to make yourself from scratch?

In this series of Copycat Recipe Posts, let's try to recreate (from scratch) some of those great meals you girls love.

Do you any any suggestions of recipes you'd love to create?

I have started the series with Red Lobster's Cheddar Bay Biscuits! (click on th link to see the recipe)

Post your recipe for the Panera salad!  Let's add to the list.  :)

Quoting Poodles:

I love the Asian chicken salad that Applebee's has...but i hear it is LOADED with fat and calories.

I was able to duplicate one of Panera's salads once, had a southwestern flair....it turned out delicious.

I didn't really use a recipe, just added the same ingredients.  I think I mixed BBQ sauce in with ranch dressing to duplicate the southwestern flavor.  It's been a while since we had it and I made it...so I can't remember what all was in it.

I will look later at their website as see if I can find it though.

Poodles

This is all I could find at Panera.com about the salad we liked.

BBQ Chopped ChickenAll-natural, antibiotic-free chicken, romaine lettuce, roasted corn, black beans, tortilla strips & BBQ ranch dressing, drizzled with BBQ sauce.
