Sweet and sour pork used to be my favorite but I won't eat pork anymore. So I guess if I ever find myself at a Chinese restaurant again it would be sweet and sour chicken. I like the fried rice too and almond chicken.
Pepper Steak with Jasmine Rice

Ingedients:
1 lb of sirloin strips of beef (you usually can get the strips already cut in the supermarket)
1 Green bell pepper (cut into long thin strips)
1 Red bell pepper (cut into long thin strips)
1 small yellow onion (chopped)
1 tsp of chopped garlic (about 1 fresh clove)
½ tsp of grated fresh ginger
1 envelope, can or jar of brown or onion gravy
2 tbs of Soy Sauce (I save the packets we get from take out)
1 dash of Worcestershire sauce
½ cup of water
1 can of Chow Mein Noodles (found in the ethnic aisle of your local supermarket)
2 cups of Jasmine Rice
1 tsp of Sesame Oil
Small dash of salt & black pepper
Preparation:
In a bowl marinate the steak strips with a small dash of salt & black pepper. Add the soy sauce, the worcestershire sauce, the chopped garlic & grated fresh ginger. Let sit.
While steak is marinating, heat a large skillet pan with the tsp of sesame oil – medium to high heat. When hot, add the sliced bell peppers & chopped onions. Sauté until tender. Add steak strips.
Add can, jar or prepared powder gravy envelop (remember you need to prepare the powder with a cup of water). Add ½ cup of water & cover & reduce heat to allow simmering.
Once beef is tender, 30 mins or so, serve over white Jasmine Rice topped with a handful of chow mein noodles on top. Enjoy!
Easy Egg Drop Soup
Ingedients:
1 envelop of Lipton Chicken Noodle Soup (or any other similar brand)
1 whole egg scrambled
1 tsp of corn starch disolved in ½ cup of water
1 chopped scallion for garnish
Preparation:
Prepare the Chicken noodle soup as directed, once boiling, whisk in briskly the scrambled egg & the cornstarch mixture. Allow egg to cook & soup to thicken. Serve & top with scallions. Enjoy!

No....I've never tried them at home. There's gotta be a trick to that thick red sweet and sour sauce that I'd have no clue how to try. It's fattening too (the fried meat) though, so we'd not make it at home.
Me gustan los veggie rolls, chow mein (no estoy segura si asi se escribe), fried rice, orange chicken! yum
