Smothered Turkey Patties

Ingredients:
I hate ground turkey, but discovered these things are not too bad. Less fat than beef, so I'll use them.

I'm not going to make my smothered patties as a sandwich though, I'm going to serve them on potatoes (or noodles like pictured) and omit the swiss. I'll do the onions and mushrooms and then make a gravy for the top.
here was my dinner. chicken crispers with mashed potatoes and corn :)

Oh, I am so glad to hear I am not alone in my dislike for ground turkey. SO many moms I know use it a lot...I just can't stand the taste or smell, seasoned or not. EW. :p

yes it taste and smells so weird. i couldnt get past it. i gave it 3 different tries LOL

I only gave it two tries. The fist package of ground pork stunk, but I gave it the benefit of the doubt and tried it again another time. It stunk too and I couldn't even finish my dinner that night. I fixed a peanut butter on graham cracker sandwich that night.
No more ground turkey----or pork for me. ;)
