Hay diferentes typos de placenta previas..sabes cual es la que tienes? Esta la placenta completa, marginal y  "low-lying" , esta se acerca pero no cubre la cervix.  Lo importante es saber cual es la que tienes.  Si es completa entonces tu cervix esta totalmente cubierta por la placenta haciendo que esta te haga imposible tener a tu bebe en la cual tienes que tener cesaria.  Es muy importante saber cual tiene porque tiene riesgos a que te de una hemorragia poniendo en riesgo tu vida y la vida de tu bebe.  Pero ya al tener conocimiento que la placenta esta cubriendo, los doctores ya saben de antemanos hacer para que tu parto o nacimiento de tu bebe sea todo un exito!  No tienes que preocuparte.  Lo importante es que sabes.  Mucha suerte!!

I'm pretty sure the lady above me covered a good part of this....but as scary as it may be to have placenta previa, many, many babies have been born very healthy when Mommies have had this condition. Also, please keep in mind that there is a possibilty that the placenta can move or migrate farther away from the cervix as your pregnancy progresses. Click here ) It's best to rest as much as possible and refrain from sex or other stressful activities so that pressure will not be applied to your cervix. Also, be sure to stay hydrated because dehydration can cause spotting and I wouldn't want you to think something horrible is about to happen if you start to spot.
