summer days & hot food? NO WAY ! Verena y comida caliente? No !

My baby can eat ! & he is a very healthy boy, but lately all he wants is his bottle/juice. I try feeding him through out the day and try to get him to eat as much as I can, but still he'd rather have his bottle. I talked to his pediatrician, and she said to offer food to him and have him take as much as he wants, but he's still drinking his milk, and is very healthy so it shouldn't be a problem. Then I even talked to my MIL about it, and she had a great idea & answer, nobody wants to eat hot foods when its already frying outside, even babies ! She suggested I feed him cool pasta, eggs, sandwiches cut into squares, and let his hot food cool down before feeding him, and so far it's working! Just thought others mommies might want to know in case youre going through the same thing!

Mi nino si que come !

Oh yeah during the summer time we try to offer cool foods. I keep various fruits in the fridge, we eat cold pasta salads, cold meat sandwiches.

That's very true. My kids are like that too and once it's warm out I make sure their foods cool or cold snacks.
