I am babysitting 2 kids (10-12) years old, and I have my 1 year old. So we decided to make some sandwhiches, pack them with our apples, & juice box, and head to the park. The kids are running around, my baby in on the swing, we eat our lunches, go back to activites, all is fun and games. & then I see a herd of about 20 teens coming in, and you know thats not a good idea ! I take my baby out of the swing and start strapping him into the stroller, call the other two kids, the girl came to my side quickly, the boy I had to yell at. I tell to get next to me & we make our way out of there, I had to take my babys stroller over the ramp instead of going on it just to get out quickly ! In the meanwhile the teens are arguing, and yelling, and instigating. As I make my way out theres an old couple on a car trying to see whats going on, I saw a fist flying so I told them to call the cops, which they did. Then when I turn there are kids coming out of everywhere !!!! I had to rush these kids out of there ASAP! I then apologized to the boy I screamed at, & let him know I didnt do it to be mean, but so that he could hear me (I called him 3xs prior) bc there is no way hes getting into any incident while under my care ! & from now on we wil only go in the morning when the older kids are still in school/sleeping/ or not at all. How unfair !
I have ran into situations like this. My kids are not allowed to go to certain theaters because of this. When we do go, we go to the most expensive theater because there aren't as many rowdy teens. Sucks, but true. Same as when I take them skating.
Wow ! How sad is that!? I've never been in a situation like that.
Love Always,
Angel
Ugh that is terrible. I can only imagine the stress you probably felt trying to get the kids out of there before something went wrong. Glad you were able to get out but it sucks that now you have to wait to take your kids the park.
Ugh so sad. But glad that all of you make it out of there safe.
Yes it is soo bad that they don't respect that there's kids and families around anymore.

Yes, & we were the only ones in the parj prior to this. Thank God you haven't and I hope you're never in one either.

Yes I didn't really have time for any emotions, I couldn't believe they didn't even care. They didn't even try to go somewhere else or move farther from us ! & yes it sucks that now time is very limited.

Wow that's awful. I'm thankful that we have good parks in our area. We spend a lot of time at the parks.
