Talking to your baby

Hey mamis!!

Es mi primer post here and well I was wondering que tanto le hablan a su bebe en el dia? I have a 9 month old baby boy y aunque trato de hablarle todo el dia sometimes I have a lot in my head and I just forget, does that ever happen to you? I used to talk to him more when he was younger since he needed me for everything but nowadays he loves to play on the floor with his toys, crawl and feed himself, ugh I feel so bad, ojala y no sea la unica a la que le pase esto jeje

y baby is 3 months and I have schedules with he wakes up and we spend a good part talking and dressing him. Then he sits on his bouncer for a little bit while I eat and then we play and talk for about 15 min before going back so sleep same for lunch and dinner

Don't feel bad! No te preocupes. You are doing great!

Ozzy is the only "baby" in the family so we all talk to him a lot. His sisters do too. We all talk to him like if he was another adult in the family lol. He replies in baby talk who knows what.  He says words here and there like "nene" thats what we call him lol He says my name and my husbands he says lita for abuelita. Ball, NO, mira, ven. Oh and he says Umm and points to his mouth that means hes hungry. He is 15 months old.

I have a 9 month baby too, and like you I used to talk to him more before. Why? I like to read/straighten my hair/etc in his room while I watch him and what he's doing. He's not a big fan of toy but since I started doing he's been exploring his room a lot more and started standing on his. He loves being independent and doing things on his own, thus I try to help him less and let him do more. I do talk to him while changing his diaper, reading to him, playing w/him, feeding him, going out, I believe if you tell/explain what you're doing he'll start talking sooner and have a better understanding of words. So don't feel guilty that its decreased, but don't diminish it too much! Good luck!
