Is there a preference in your house? Do you introduce one first, then the other?

Neither is really preferred, though English is spoken more. When I teach my girls something I teach them how to say it in both languages and how to pronounce it correctly in each language.

En mi casa hablamos mas español que ingles y quisiera que mis hijos lo aprendieran correctamente , para que puedan comunicarse con sus abuelos en cuba y tener mejores oportunidades en el futuro hablando  2 idiomas.

We speak Spanish most of the time.

We typically do mostly English. I'm not fluent in Spanish. We also have a few words in Portugues, Turkish, and Hawaiian that get thrown in there.

In my house we speak both languages... spanish and english. My three kids were born and raise in the U.S. my oldest daughter is fluent in both languages because she takes spanish in school. But my other two speak more english than spanish... they understand spanish but they don't speak it well. I guess it all depends the desire your kids show to learn it, but believe me is hard.

I speak in both languages but English is prevalent in my household. Although my husband is of Dominican decent, he is not fluent in Spanish. My daughter is fluent in Spanish but my son refuses to speak the language.
