Electric stove tops question - pregunta sobre estufas electricas

Chicas,

Necesito ayuda! Alguien sabe?

Ladies,

I need help!  I bought a new home, and it came with an electric stove, (I've always had gas stoves), and I hate it!!!!  The thing is, I spilled some liquid underneath the warmer thing, and I don't know how to clean it up.  Does the warmer come off?  What cleaning product do I use to clean the plates with?  Anyone knows?

I've had electric for as long as I can remember. I'm used to it. But growing up and even now, Mami always had gas. So when I cook at her house I have to adjust.

Anyway, to clean, it looks like Blanca already gave you tips on how to remove the burner itself. As for the drip pan underneath that part, you can cover with foul like she said, or repurchase, they come in packs of 2-4 at family dollar, Walmart etc. But if you just need to clean off food that overflowed, you can use baking soda and a Brillo pad, or powder dishwasher detergent. It should help it come  right off. Just let it soak for a little it in warm water first, then scrub it off and it should be like new.

I hope that helps!
