¿Que haces con tus hijos cuando tienen vacaciones?/What do you do with your kids when they have vacation?

I usually just let them roam free around the house and watch TV, play games, etc.
Normalmente los dejo tener un dia libre. Ver tele o jugar juegos, etc.
I also like to look up craft projects. Familyfun.com is the best site for this.
We try to get out and go to the park or stores, the boys have been asking if we could start going to the library. My oldest loves to read, and my 5 year old, just had a field trip there.
Some days, we stay in our pjs, cuddle up in the livingroom together and just watch movies. I make munchies, and we just hangout.
This is a great idea. Sounds like a fun way of keeping their memories fresh.

Every year I go and buy workbooks for the grade they will be going into next. We work on those daily, just 30 min here and there, or however long they want.

Right now they are in the Bronx visiting my mom& brother. Even their dad's sister picked them up to play with their cousins and her step kids. Tomorrow I'll take the megabus down from Albany and Wednesday we'll go to the Bronx Zoo in the morning and then in the afternoon we'll go to titi's salon in Queens to get our hair done and maybe some manicures. Thursday, we'll come back home and rest. Friday, I'll pick up my check. Pay some bills and we'll go to Denny's. Saturday will be time for a trip to NYS museum and maybe some pizza. Then Sunday is church and rest before me heading back to work and them heading off to school.
Those are great tips! I currently have them decorating a bag for their library books. I'll put up pics when they're done.

The best part is that except for the Bronx Zoo, they don't know the rest of my plans.
That's great!! It'll be a great surprise!
