As I said in another post, I took my kids to the library today and asked about my oldest, who's going to be 11, being a volunteer but they require the kids to be at least 12 and in 6th grade. The librarian said that she would love to have a volunteer who really loves the library. It's a shame because she really does like the library but I guess we'll have to wait another year.
How about your kids? Do they volunteer anywhere? How do they like it?
That's great!

My kids and I volunteer to clean the church when it needs it. We also give things to the needy sometimes, wether it be food, clothes, household items.
My kids go to a catholic private school and my son (12) volunteers since the 5th grade. They go and deliver food to the elderly, he helps at the local food bank and in our diocese catholic charities. Their father and I are also volunteer but to us is more about spreading our faith and helping others.
