i dont have a daughter, but my son's girlfriend does. It doesnt look good. why would a mother let her precious child put herself out there like that. We as parents are responsible for our kids. My men friends have always told me, if your dressing that way your advertising yourself, get yourself into lots of problems. respect yourself, dont be like the rest. 

I agree. I don't think it looks good either....especially with the news always talking about perverts out there.

I don't think so either. I think tankinis are fine to wear out. A family friend had a cookout and bday party for his 11 yr old daughter and she and her friends were running around in 2 pieces and it didn't look ok. My husband and I were talking about that on the way home and how we would never let our daughter wear that (if we ever have a girl).

I think it depends on the bikini.  There are some that are tasteful and some that are trashy.  If you have one that fits properly it makes the world of difference.  I also wear bikinis, I do it tastefully.  Not all women can wear certain things, we have to use our judgement to see what flatters us and what makes us look trashy.  I also think that it has tro do with the way we carry ourselves too.  I've seen some little girls that wear a one piece but act so trashy.  So it all depends.

my 7 years old daughter wears tankini and 1 piece swimsuit.

My stepdaughters wear two piece bathing suits and I have no problem with that, there are bikinis and there are "bikinis" some of them cover pretty good others are really small, it also depends how you handle yourself while wearing a two piece.

I have to say my daughter has never had a two peice because I just don't like the look of a two peice on my little princess. It doesn't look right but to each their own. I can only speak for my daughter.
