Runway Make up Trend - Blue Mascara!
We’ve seen plenty of 90s inspired trends on this year’s runways and many designers have drawn their inspiration from the last decade of the 20th century. Backstage at the Stella McCartney fall 2012 show, models sported electric blue eyelashes – if you’re a child of 80s, you most definitely remember the blue mascara craze! “Stella said to me, ‘I just love a girl with color on her lashes,’ ” explained Pat McGrath, the makeup artist behind the look, who applied a coat of CoverGirl Lashblast 24 Hour Mascara in black ($7.99) to the lashes, followed by vibrant blue pigment gel.
The key to pulling of this makeup look is balance. Pair the blue mascara with a fresh, luminous base, groomed eyebrows and naked but well moisturized lips. Rock the trend with our top picks for blue mascaras!

love it for a dramatic look...but live it 4 the daily basis!
once in awhile for a night out so it stands out but not for daily wear, I've never tried it
I like blue mascara but it look to harsh on the model and makes it look awful on her
I worked with a lady who wore it everyday to work. It was really blue too and noticeable. whatever floats your boat I guess. But I love it for a night out too.

I'd wear it too. Maybe I'll try the Great Lash one since it's affordable.

yeah i would wear it...so i'll say love it!!
I think Benefit used to make a blue one. I heard that blue is supposed to make the whites of your eyes whiter. Maybe I'll try it on days when I'm really tired and need a pick me upper. But I don't see myself wearing it everyday.

Yeah it stands out too much on the model. Maybe I'll wear black but then do a coat of blue on the bottom lashes or maybe on the tips of the top. That way it's not too bright for daytime.

I'm guessing it's under $5 since that's what the original great lash costs. I'm sure it could be found wherever Great Lash is sold. Walmart and Target probably has it.
