Sometimes the translator is wacky. 

 I have not yet sent my kids to camp---I've always been too over protective, I guess.  I am considering it though for my high school daughter next December, a camp of kids from our church.  She'll be 17 and I feel she can take care of herself if anything happened.

I just worry about little kids being away.

What about a Boys & Girls Club for the summer? If you don't feel comfortable letting them go why not sign them up for a class, club,  group for the summer? Music, dancing, art, science, math lessons,etc. Check with the schools, museums, kids groups. Maybe even in your city's website?

Yo nunca las he llevado s un campamento, pero si me gustaria, talvez este verano, me gustaria natacion, tengo que averiguar.
