My husband is a big fan of scratchers from his work. All his coworkers joke with him don't do it! Sometimes I roll my eyes when I see him putting money into the machine. But to tell you the truth what ever winnings he wins he either saves it or we spend it. Either on gas or lunch. The biggest win was $200 and he saved in to put towards a toy we are getting--a boat to take with us to go fishing!(: I think you should encourage him to get scratchers because 99% chance he will win big on scratcher then lottery ticket.
