Is a "Hickey" ever ok?

What do you think about those love bites/marks?  Are they ever ok to give or get?  Is showing it off proudly cool?  Or should they be hidden?

If you don't approve here is a tip:

How To Get Rid of a Hickey

Pop a wet spoon in the freezer while you’re getting ready, recommends top makeup  artist Carmindy, and gently press it to your neck when it’s nice and cool to reduce swelling. Then take a soft toothbrush, and slowly swipe from the inside  to the outside of the bruise to get blood flowing again.

Follow by gently dabbing on a creamy, thick concealer, a dash of  translucent powder, and a scarf or turtleneck to cover the damage.

I can proudly say that I never got one, nor do I like to see it in other people either.  I think is a mark of tashy leople.  I can't see why anyone would want to do that.

I don't hate having them done, I hate how they look thought, so I dont allow my husband to give me any, but in the rare moments when it does happen I cover them up, even if it means wearing a turtle neck when its 80degrees outside.

I agree ladies, to walk around with a hickey is trashy. In high school girls would act like getting a hickey was so cool but I guess they never stopped to think about what would the teachers say and other adults outside of school or maybe just didn't care. Ahhh if I would have ever came home with a hickey on my neck mi mama would have killed me and then my dad would have revived me just to kill me him self LMAO...well maybe they wouldn't have killed me but I sure i would not have got away with it. Now as an adult when i see younger girls with them i think where are their papas are at you know cause that just is not cute/sexy at all. Its trashy.

If your older than 30 I'm sure you've been guilty of wearing a turtle neck for reasons other than fashion.!!! In the act of intimacy we all maybe guilty of some inappropriate acts... smiling / sonrienteIf you're ok with displaying your love marks I say go for it!!
