Have you found the Perfect Maxi Dress?

 Yes, I love these dresses. Here are mine, they are very similar to the first pic you have here.

I have about 4 or 5. They are all solid colors, but different styles. I have one that is print/multicolor. I will be looking for more though. I love how comfy they are. :)

I'm 5'2" also.  I'm thinking of getting some & having them altered .  No reason why us shorties can't join in on the style.

 You're right. I don't see why we should have to miss out on such an easy breezy cute style.  I think we need to get them altered and find a cute belt to define our waist since we're not long and lean like the models. But I'm also on the chubby side so I need to be careful with patterns.  I'm sure I'll find something....

Exactly!  Actually I have a halter dress that I wore a few times a few summers ago and got lots of compliments on it.  The only reason I don't still wear it is because it's a halter style with a deep V so even with wearing a bra my boobs look like they are about to fall out.  I wear it around the house as summer lounge wear and will wear it as a cover up when I go to the beach.  Good looks for short women are strapless maxi dresses and depending on your size a cute shrug to go with it.  Plus size women look good wearing them with a cute short sleeved shrug because the shrug will define the waste more making it look more hour glass shaped on you.
