Lately my husband has been commenting on how he wishes I would go out & shop more for household things & decor, such as dishes, curtains, towels, etc.
I'm not a frivilous shopper and usually make the best of what we already have. He on the otherhand wants me to spend my days in the mall doing the NJ Housewives thing. - Blah!
My girlfriends think I'm crazy for not doing as he wishes & think I should take the credit cards & runnnnnnnnnnn!
What do you ladies think?
I'd be more than happy if my husband tell me something like that! haha not that I want to spend the money and just go shopping like crazy, but my house really need some decoration, but this is not just the moment...
if you think your house really need it and you have the money to do it (extra money) do it!

Well like what kinds of thing? Things you guys NEED or thing just to change it up?? LOL shoot if my hubby came home and said " baby, here is my CC you can go and buy a few new stuff for the house...." I would not think twice, I would get new mats for the restroom and new towels to match it and why not a new shower curtain to go with the thyme too lol!!

Meh, if you have the extra money go ahead a splurge a little. If you aren't comfortable spending all day shopping hit up a few online catalogs. Your home should be comfortable to both of you guys. If you don't want to expend the energy on the choosing and shopping, enlist your husband's help to see what fits your (and his) style.
Personally, I am rather indiffernet to the whole home decorating and just want things to be functional. If my husband told me this, I'd just shrug it off. Don't want it, don't need it, why waste the effort on buying it.
Just get something each season and change out old curtains. move furniture around for a new look
Girl I'd be the same way. My hubby wouldn't have to tell me twice. I'd put on my comfy shoes, my bottled water, and peace out everyone, I'm going shopping! lol.

It's nice to do that sometimes, but I totally understand where you coming from. Maybe make it a treat for yourself once a mnth??
