OMG! It's so funny that you say that! My husband likes to listen to Nickelback, Green Day, Bon Jovi and alot of other "non-Mexican" music. And I laugh because he blasts it in the car and I tell him, I wonder what people think looking at this big Mexican, with the boots and all, listening to his music. And if it's not that music, it's Taylor Swift or Selena Gomez LOL!! (shhhhh, don't tell him I told you) Either way it looks funny seeing this big Mexican listening to his music lol!
My husband and I have different music taste! I'm a die hard Elvis Presley fan since I was three years old. And ever since I can remember I have been a fan of oldies 50's 60's music. My husband is more into Pantera, six feet under, slip knot. But I know he's a die hard Pantera fan. Even my mother in law is a Pantera, slip knot, Korn, all those heavy bands fan. But in the town where we live, it's all about Country music. In a way it's like a movie. Boy meets girl kind of small town with music playing. In this case when I met my husband, it was just like a movie. It was July 2010 and it was love at first sight at the produce section! This song was playing when we first met (-;

when I was a kid I loved country music. I too have to dig deep for my old Garth Brooks, George Straight, Alan Jackson, Tim McGraw, Faith Hill, Brooks and Dunn. I have a few from Johny Cash in my iPod right now!
My favorite all time country song is Two Sparrows by Tanya Tucker. Today's country music...meh, don't care for it.
