I know I’m a Latino dad when:  I chose to name my son Joaquin Eduardo because I wanted a strong Spanish name.  When we go on vacation most of our trips are to Puerto Rico where I was born and where my family still resides.  I want Joaquin to be exposed not only to his extended family but also to his Latino roots.
